“It is something to be able to paint a lovely picture; or carve a magnificent statue, but it is far more glorious to carve and paint the very atmosphere in which we live.” – H.D. Thoreau

At Source Paper, we acknowledge that we reside on unceded territory of the Coast Salish Nations. Many tribes traveled for seasonal harvesting and hunting grounds or permanent residence on the islands, long before settler contact. We recognize that these nations are the original inhabitants of the lands and waters of the Salish Sea. Their ancestors surround us and the careful knowledge that has been passed through generations of observation and relations; is of deep wisdom that must return to its place.
May we come together to heal and strengthen what has been lost.
“However, we get to that place through creation, sharing, understanding, conversation, etc… it is the stepping stones to wider, wilder influence.”
THANK YOU * GRACIAS
